A boost for the farm thanks to a 'Making it Local' LEADER Grant

March 28, 2019Oliver White

We’ve been lucky enough to land ourselves a LEADER Rural Development Grant, to help us expand and improve facilities here on the farm.

It means we can boost productivity and store a wider range of products to benefit our customers.

We’re busy rejigging the farm outbuildings to better serve our business, and of course - to provide more choice for you.

Project: Order Fulfilment Facility & Cold Storage

This project will support the continued growth of our online grass-fed meat shop www.farm2fork.co.uk, by upgrading the farm power supply to three phase electricity, thereby enabling the expansion of our currently limited cold storage capacity as well as facilitating the development and streamlining of the order fulfilment and packing facilities.

It is part funded by the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development.
