Meet the animals, explore our organic farm and enjoy the food we rear here, with a family-friendly Farm Safari & BBQ in the beautiful East Devon countryside.
We spend most of the year sending food from our farm to customers around the country. This September, we would love to welcome you here and show you where it all begins.
Climb aboard our covered tractor and trailer and join Farmer Ollie for a tour across Dalditch Farm. You’ll meet some of our livestock, discover what is happening in the fields and hear how we work with nature to produce our organic, 100% grass-fed beef and lamb and pasture-raised poultry.
From moving the animals to giving pastures time to recover, Ollie will explain the everyday decisions behind our farming, with plenty of opportunity to ask questions along the way.
Make a day of it with a Safari + BBQ ticket and enjoy organic meat reared here on the farm, freshly cooked by Pop Up Dining Room.

Safari + BBQ: Please arrive by 11:45am. The BBQ is served from 12 noon.
Safari only: Please arrive by 12:30pm.
2:30pm safari
BBQ first, then the safari
Safari + BBQ: Please arrive by 1:15pm. The BBQ is served from 1:30pm.
Safari only: Please arrive by 2:00pm.
Each safari lasts approximately 1 hour 15 minutes. Tickets are booked for a specific departure, so please choose your time carefully.

Children under four
Under-fours attend free, but a free ticket is still required for headcount purposes. They must be booked with an adult on the same safari, will not have a separate trailer seat and must sit on that adult’s lap throughout the safari. BBQ food is not included in the under-four ticket.

Choose a Safari + BBQ ticket and enjoy a freshly cooked Taste of East Devon BBQ from Pop Up Dining Room, featuring organic meat reared here at Dalditch Farm alongside other locally sourced ingredients.
The BBQ menu
Our freshly cooked farm BBQ will feature:
- Spatchcocked organic, pasture-raised chicken
- Slow-cooked pulled leg of our 100% grass-fed lamb
- Warm pitta breads served with a selection of seasonal sides made using produce from Trill Farm
- A slice of homemade traybake to finish
Child-friendly alternatives and a vegetarian option will also be available.
Enjoy your meal with family and friends, take in the surroundings and visit our farm shop while you’re here. There’s space to eat under cover in one of our barns if the weather calls for it.
Good to know
A working farm
Please wear suitable footwear and clothing for the weather and uneven ground. The covered trailer is intended to run in most weather; if conditions make the safari unsafe, we will contact ticket holders.
