Beef (Ox) Heart
Our 100% grass-fed beef heart is a lean, flavourful cut with a rich, meaty taste and a surprisingly fine texture when prepared well. Raised outdoors on our organic and regenerative pastures, our cattle live naturally and grow slowly, producing wholesome beef with real depth and character.
Beef heart is naturally nutrient-rich and works well in both quick and slow-cooked dishes. Slice thinly and flash-fry with garlic, butter and herbs, marinate and barbecue over a high heat, or dice and simmer gently in stews, curries and casseroles. It has a clean, beefy flavour that suits bold seasoning and careful cooking.
Full of honest flavour, this is a butcher’s favourite for anyone who enjoys traditional nose-to-tail eating and good farming.
