We reach for these a lot ourselves – after a long day on the farm, there’s nothing better than a dish that’s ready in minutes but tastes like you’ve made an effort.

Stir-fries are endlessly versatile and a great way to pack in the veg. We like to chop up spring onions, peppers, pak choi and baby corn, then heat a little oil in a hot pan and add garlic, ginger and the beef strips. A spoonful of honey helps everything caramelise beautifully before finishing with a splash of soy sauce and a squeeze of lime. Serve with noodles or rice and you’ve got a fresh, flavourful meal on the table in no time.
