From the moment they arrive as day-old chicks and goslings, they are given warmth, care and space to grow strong and healthy before moving outside to roam freely across our fields of clover and grasses.

Once they have fully feathered, our birds spend their days grazing and foraging in the fresh Devon air. They peck at grass, herbs and seeds, and enjoy the freedom to stretch their wings and follow their instincts. This natural outdoor life builds strong, healthy birds with well-developed muscles and rich, full flavour.

Their safety is looked after by our loyal Maremma guardian dogs, who gently watch over the flocks day and night. The birds live calmly, without stress, which means better welfare and, ultimately, better quality meat.

We supplement their foraged diet with organic grain, free from GMOs, synthetic additives or routine antibiotics. Everything about the way we rear them supports robust health, high welfare and environmental care.

Why Time and Space Matter

Slower growth is at the heart of what makes our geese and turkeys special. Unlike intensively reared poultry, our birds grow at their own pace, developing natural fat cover and muscle texture that make for unbeatable succulence and depth of flavour.
